Research Operations Manager

This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States.

As the Research Operations Manager at Fullstory, you will be responsible for collecting research needs from product teams, consulting on the appropriate research methods, and communicating directly with our customers. This important role ensures that we strategically involve our customers in important product decisions, as well as share those findings with collaborative teams across the business.

In a typical day, you might:

  • Support functional teams’ research development and implementation

  • Work with product and design leadership to identify team research needs (process, tools, learning and development, etc.), make recommendations for improvement, and assist with the planning and execution of related projects

  • Develop, standardize and maintain research methodology and supporting documentation, including an internal repository, training materials, playbooks, and commonly used resources

  • Investigate research tools that can improve efficiency and impact

  • Recruit customers and keep them informed of research findings and product updates

  • Foster a community of highly engaged customers and product teams

  • Develop a communications strategy for keeping collaborators and teams better informed, synthesizing and sharing research findings and success stories to elevate awareness and impact of research at Fullstory

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Experience with user research methods and practices; preferably this includes proficiency with tools such as Usertesting, Maze, Dovetail, Qualtrics, etc.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills, with acute attention to detail

  • 3+ years of experience working with product teams is highly valued

The impact you will have in 6 Months:

  • You will have built a strong pipeline and membership for our Customer Innovation Circle, with actively engaged members and frequent research project opportunities

The impact you will have in 12 Months:

  • You will have trained and led our product team to abide by industry best practices for user research, sharing insights across multiple projects and managing an active customer community

The base salary for this position ranges between $110,000 - $120,000 USD. Base salary will vary based on relevant experience, job-related skills and qualifications.
